On 23 March 1920, the Smith crew finally arrived in Adelaide after the epic flight and victory lap around Australia. The victorious men were that night hosted at the Tivoli Theatre (now Her Majesty’s Theatre) by Ross Smith’s former 3rd Light Horse Regiment. Epic flight aficionados will note the wrong plane is featured on the front of the program – most likely because the designers would not have seen the Vimy before the it was printed.
