RAAF Base Edinburgh Air Show | Epic Flight Centenary

Tens of thousands of people flocked to the RAAF Base Edinburgh Air Show in November. Themed “From Vimy to Fifth Generation in 100 Years”, the air show provided an awesome opportunity to share the epic flight story with aviation fans young and old. The Epic Flight Centenary marquee, generously supported by Air Force, was a hive of activity throughout the three-day event.

: No. 36 Squadron’s Flight Lieutenant Ben Skuce with competition winner Taye Hebden and our 21st century mascot ‘Pete the Pilot’ in a C-17A cockpit. Taye beat 4800 entrants to win our Makers Empire 3D mascot competition, and Pete the Pilot later went on his own mission to the Middle East aboard a C-17A aircraft.
